checking if I'm still real, 2018

With confinement, I've spent a lot more time with myself. That doesn't mean face masks and bubble baths, but simply sorting out thoughts & listing out reasons to be happy. that also means overthinking and wondering, "what do I even look like?"

just by looking at this photo, I feel the warmth of the sun hitting my skin – something I'm deprived of as I write this.

grainy selfie, 2019

from time spent studying my own shadow, my environment, myself. thinking about connections and, well, "maybe my shadow isn't mine after all".
