(7.20.2020) "The Rhythm" , "Solitude", & more by Enunwa Jude @dudeworks_enunwajude “The Rhythm” (2018) “Solitude” (2008) This piece is a reflection of how we would describe peace and quiet when we need our alone times. This is where the Artist travels to get that. where do you travel to? “Past Heros” (2017) (from top left - right): Nnambi Azikiwe, Fela Anikulakpokuti | (from bottom left - right): Tafawa Balewa, Obafemi Awolowo “Priceless Expression of an Icon” (2018) I tried to capture the personality and inner character of famous photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi. Who is also a popular artist here in Nigeria. “Happiness” (2019) I drew this after my father passed on, m and it teaches one that no matter what you go through, happiness should take the back seat. “Abami Eda II” (2017) Truth is bitter they say! Oppression, corruption, poverty, wicked multinationals, exploitative tendencies of both religious divide, pollution, among others were some of the social maladies which unfortunately form the bane of underdevelopment that legendary Afro-beat musician, the late Fela Anikulakpo Kutifrownedat and strongly criticized via music. This stands as a reminder to build on his legacy and undying contributions. visualsAviva PuseyJuly 20, 2020visuals Facebook0 Twitter LinkedIn0 Reddit Tumblr Pinterest0 0 Likes
