I found myself lost in the past few months, I have asked myself, “What is photography for me? What is photography giving to me?”
I’ve started to explore these questions and I have found myself attracted to the invisible. The unknown places that explore my mental reflections through the unconscious.
I’ve started to build photomontages and try to explore my mind through photography. The photomontages give me a place to
play with my photos and create something new from them. Through that I can combine my photos and make what I want to see in the pictures. All in a way that let me build a surreal world of myself.
The long exposures give me a place to explore the unconscious parts in my mind. They are showing me my unknown passions, desires and impulses.
I combine both of the sides together and explore my mind and my mental complexity.
I see the camera as an external object that help me look inside, figure out who am I and bring that back outside to the world. This is part of my journey as a maiden to becoming a women.
