My name is Alex Mirkin, I moved to Israel from Ukraine in 2014 and became fascinated by the beauty of Israeli cities and nature, and of how borderless they seemed to each other. I took countless walks and witnessed all this beauty and realized the need to share my view with everybody. So I got a camera and went on my walks with it ever since.
These pictures were taken in the Haifa Bus Station. I was standing outside on the platform and looked inside through semitransparent wall of glass. What I saw is juxtaposition of two similar scenes. The people and the place became an idea of themselves. Business, hurry, waiting, punctuality, preciseness, anxiety of getting lost or missing your appointment or excitement you feel when travelling to person or plase you missed. You almost cam hear the echoes and ruckus in the spatious waiting hall.
