I did this piece in one sitting, it took me an entire day of work to get it to be exactly the way I wanted it to look.  I’m super into use of color because I think a lot of people are afraid of combining things in fear of it being “too much”.  The face is done on 18x24 with oil pastels, and I painted the background with a super muted gray just to really showcase the color:)
